Facebook banned in Pakistan
Facebook is used for people to communicate with other people from all over the region. However, they is a group of people who abuse the usage of using facebook. What do I mean by this? Let us go through of what happened in Pakistan.
It was stated in the article that a group " Draw Mohammed Day " was formed. It was a " contest drawing caricatures of Mohammed ". They might seen this as an entertainment, or like what most of us would say, they are doing this for "fun". But we have to respect each other religious, even if the group gets an excellent response from facebook users. Others may not see the wrong in doing it, but for the Muslims, it’s like a humiliation to us as other religious is using our prophet for entertainment.
Facebook is a famous website with a wide range of application. For example, games and quizzes. There are thousands, or even millions of users using the games and quizzes applications. We normally use it to entertain ourselves. Thus, there is no need to form a group that will only disrespect other religious and causing conflicts to happen.
Facebook is not only known among the school children, but also adults. I am a facebook user too. Using facebook had helped me to keep in touch with my primary and secondary school, and working friends. If I don’t have their contact number, i can just contact them through their facebook account. Isn’t that easy?
Thus, I don’t see the need for people to create something that will ended up in bad situation and caused facebook to be in a bad reputation. Hence, facebook users have to be wise when there use facebook. Try to avoid writing something mean about someone else in your wall account, especially something sensitive like religious matter.
Using facebook helps you to socialise with other people across the region, thus making it a global nation.
