do we have racial harmony in Singapore? if yes, is it based on understanding or tolerance?
Do we have racial harmony in Singapore? Personally i think that it

is a yes, and majority are based on understanding as Singaporeans all grow up in a country that is already with many races from the beginning. For example, a particular race could grow up with many different races either staying near them or even studying in the same school as them. They might have even played with people of different races since young, therefore this build up the mutual understanding of the different races.
There are also a minority which is based on tolerance as we could always hear many racist comments on different races, but the different races just choose to tolerate a

nd ignore the comments.
However, there are also a handful of Singaporeans that do not like people of the other races. These group of people just feel that people of other races are inferior and disgusting.
Usually we could also see certain people trying to act like they are the boss and this would just make people of other races to link these individuals with their race and the other races hate this particular race. Thus, Singapore do have racial harmony and the racial harmony is based on understanding.
